Tides of Eternity – New Song Available

Hey everyone! Like most of the world, I’ve been spending a fair bit of time lately hunkered down while we wait out the COVID-19 situation. It’s a very curious time to be alive right now, but we shouldn’t just sit idly by and wait just because we’re safe inside. So I dug through some old files, started putting together some old tracks that were abandoned long ago, and over the next few weeks I’m gonna… Continue reading

Embrace the Fire – New Single!

Surprise! I’ve just released a new single, Embrace the Fire! This one is chock full of funky slap bass, epic brass passages, and all the chaotic shredding one can dream about! I gotta say, this song was a lot of fun to create, but really painful on the hands, especially all the bass bits. It was also used as an experiment for some new mixing techniques I’ve been messing with, including reamping with multiple effects… Continue reading

Split The Shadows – Available Now!

Split The Shadows is now available! Listen to it now in full in the player below, or through your preferred music service, such as Spotify, Bandcamp, etc. As happy as I am that this one is finally released, the eyes are already set upon the next project. Ideas are churning, riffs are being written, structure is forging, you know, all that funky creative stuff. Remember to check out Okzygen Records as well, I’m sure I’ll… Continue reading

Visitors – New Song, New EP, New Band, etc.

Hey everyone, coming in with a new update since it’s been about 6 months since I’ve posted anything. To start things off right, I’m dropping a new song right now called Visitors! This song comes off of an upcoming EP I started work in in September. This one in particular is very different compared to my other stuff, much more ambient and creepy. I’d like to get the EP out by the end of… Continue reading

Summer 2017 – Solstice, Metachorica, Demon Seeds, and More…

Been a while since I’ve done a proper post on here. There’s been a number of reasons for that, which I’ll be getting to in short order. To start it off, this summer has been one of the busiest I’ve had in terms of music, whether it be solo, working with people in the studio or collaborating with some awesome and talented people I’m proud to call my friends. To start this post on a… Continue reading

The Harbinger – 20.02.16

Hey everyone. I’ve had this song kicking around for about a year now, and figured it’s about time I release something new. This is going to be part of a much larger project to come, which is part of the reason why I held back on releasing it for so long. I always try to keep my musical happenings under wraps these days, make sure everything’s just right before I release tracks unto the world.… Continue reading

Discontent – 17.11.15

So I’ve been trying to get back in the habit of making YouTube videos, and in particular composing some small scale songs specifically for uploading to these social sites. This way I can keep releasing music for free while I also spend time composing albums and recording other bands. You know, because I run a recording studio as well (www.okzygenstudios.com). The websites pretty messed up right now, but I’ll be spending some time working on… Continue reading

Somewhere Cold – October 2015

Hey everyone! I’m excited. Are you excited? You should be, because we’re less than three weeks away from Disaster Inverted being released! To help stir attention for the EP, I’ve recorded a play-through video of one of the songs off of it. You can check out the video on YouTube as well as the player above. I’ve been keeping myself busy here at Okzygen Studios the last few weeks, which is a nice change of… Continue reading
