Split the Shadows is the latest EP, comprised of 5 songs that explore a number of different genres and ideas. The concept behind this release was the merger of heavy guitar-based music with ambient drones and synthetic atmospheres, creating a cacophony of otherworldly sounds.
The opening track “… And it Fell Down from the Sky” has been floating around in various forms for a number of years, and served as the backbone of this EP. A focus on synthetic bass and drums influenced by the likes of Nine Inch Nails created such a unique backdrop to throw guitar on top of that it inspired the rest of this release.
