Joe Satriani – Always With Me, Always With You | GUITAR COVER

Hey everyone, it’s time for another video! It’s been just over a year since I rebooted the YouTube channel, and even though I’ve only been doing the regular upload things for the last three months, I wanted to mark the year with another Joe Satriani cover. So today we’re running through the track Always With Me, Always With You. I had this track figured out a few years back and played it during one of those rare live gigs that used to happen, but relearning some of these runs was pretty damn difficult.

If you listen closely you might be able to hear the struggle between EVA and I. The guitar is in pretty dire need of a setup, but I wanted to cram this song in before the nightmare that is restringing a guitar with a floating locking tremolo system. If you’ve never had to change strings on a Floyd Rose or other type of system, then I’m actually kind of jealous. These things are a bloody pain, especially if you ever decide to change the tuning of a guitar. Here’s a pro tip: DON’T CHANGE THE TUNING OF A LOCKING TREM SYSTEM GUITAR. It’s not worth it man. Also don’t change your gauge of strings, as it’s pretty much gonna do the exact same thing.

If you dig todays video then head over to the YouTube channel and check out some other stuff! Also hit that like and subscribe button while you’re there!
