Released in late 2024, A Familiar Place was recorded while demoing a guitar from Way Cool Guitars, a luthier located in Peterborough Ontario. They craft some pretty unique portable guitar solutions, some with built in amps and speakers.
a bit more upbeat than most of my previous tunes, this song was crafted as a spiritual successor to the song A Place To Forget in response to its overly melancholic vibes.
