The Welcoming Sound Of Ice is a callback to my earlier style of metal production, inspired by melodic death metal bands like Children Of Bodom and Kalmah. This track actually does not have keyboards in it, just some heavily effected guitar loops used to create a soundscape. This is also one of the first pre-written songs I’ve made a full video for in a while, which is something I’ve been getting back into making a regular habit. Lots of fast shredding and some light sweeping here and there.
